Every time I sit down to interview someone, I make a point during the interview to ask them the same group of questions.
"What are you learning right now?"
"What would you tell your 20-year-old self if you could?"
And a couple that are our main focus today:
"What are you reading right now?"
"What's your favorite book of all-time?"
I believe that if you want to have success as a business owner, or even as a father, employee, coach, or whatever, you need to be sticking your nose in a book every day. You should always be trying to learn from people who have had success, and seeking out wisdom that could be the difference between succeeding and failing in various areas of your life.
And that's going to look totally different for everyone. My reading list is mostly books about business, faith and parenting. That's what's important to me (not necessarily in that order). You should seek out what's going to make you and your life better, and start building an arsenal of books that will push you towards success in that direction.
