3 Ingredient Guiltless Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

Odds are, you probably already have these ingredients lying around and in just a few, easy steps, you can be enjoying this deliciously simple chocolate banana ice cream! Here’s what you’ll need:

Blended Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

Total Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen bananas, peeled
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter or peanut butter 
  • (If making in a food processor) 1/4 cup milk of choice 
  • Optional: chocolate chunks or chips, to sprinkle on the top

Directions

Blender: 

  1. Place all the ingredients into the blender.
  2. Blend on high for 2-3 minutes, pushing bananas down as needed.
  3. For a soft-serve texture, serve immediately.
  4. For a harder ice cream, freeze for 2 hours.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate chunks and enjoy!

Chocolate Banana Ice Cream

Food Processor:

  1.  Place all ingredients, including milk, into food processor.
  2. Pulse until bananas are mostly gone, continuously pause and stir mixture between pulses so ingredients blend smoothly and evenly. 
  3. For a soft-serve texture, serve immediately.
  4. For a harder ice cream, freeze for 2 hours.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate chunks and enjoy!
