Use this recipe on a salad, as a marinade, or as a dressing with your favorite pasta salad. Explore all the possibilities this dressing has to offer by experimenting with different flavors! Like food with a kick? Toss in a tablespoon of your favorite hot sauce! Wanting a more natural-based flavor? Make the dijon mustard from scratch easily from mustard seeds and spices! This recipe can be easily tailored to you, but is delicious as-is, too!

honey mustard vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon honey dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon whole grain dijon mustard
  • 4 Tablespoon honey
  • Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until combined.
  2. Store in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, shake well before serving, and enjoy!

Vibrant and Herby Chimichurri

What a perfect garnish for a nice, hearty steak. If you’ve never enjoyed the fresh and fragrant flavor of chimichurri, now is the perfect time! Not only is this recipe incredibly easy to make from home, it’s also so quick to put together! You’ll for sure fall in love with the full range of flavors this dressing has to offer so try it out as soon as possible! This recipe can be made either by hand or by using a food processor, either way, you’ll be left with the perfect medley of herbs and spices to garnish your meals.

herby chimichurri

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups fresh parsley
  • ½ cup well fresh cilantro
  • ¼ cup fresh oregano 
  • 1/4 small red onion or one small shallot
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus some to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 
  • 3/4 cup olive oil

Directions

By Hand (Method 1)

  1. Finely chop parsley, cilantro, oregano, onion and garlic. Add ingredients to a mixing bowl along with all remaining ingredients and stir to blend.

Food Processor (Method 2)

  1. If using a food processor no need to pre-chop herbs and you'll only need to roughly chop onion and garlic. Add red onion, garlic, red wine vinegar, lemon juice and salt to a food processor. Pulse, stopping and scraping down sides occasionally until finely minced.
  2. Add in parsley, cilantro, oregano and red pepper flakes then pour in olive oil while pulsing several times until herb leaves are finely minced.
  3. Spread over meat, poultry, seafood or vegetables or use as a marinade.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup parsley
  • 1 cup mixed soft leafy herbs (dill, mint, tarragon and/or cilantro)
  • 2 Tablespoon chives, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice, plus ½ teaspoon zest
  • 1 Tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon capers
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. In a food processor, combine the yogurt, parsley, mixed herbs, chives, lemon juice, zest, olive oil, capers, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pulse until well combined. Season to taste.
  2. Serve as a dip or toss with salad greens. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
